EarthShare of Georgia hosted their annual Earth Day Leadership Breakfast Thursday in the Stave Room at American Spirit Works. Hannah Solar was awarded the 2016 Campaign Champion award, which is based on the percentage of participating employees for a first year campaign and implementation of best campaign management practices.
 
"In 2015, Hannah Solar did a great community project on Collier Road in Atlanta to help improve curb appeal in front of their building as part of our Corporate Green Day Challenge, and CEO Pete Marte soon expressed interest in starting a workplace-giving campaign with EarthShare of Georgia," said Madeline Reamy, Executive Director for EarthShare of Georgia. "Under the direction of Virginia Weatherly, Communications and Marketing Coordinator for the company, their first year campaign engaged 25% of their employees, with an average gift of $170. For a company of 80+ employees, we believe this is a great start and we look forward to building the partnership."
