Derek May Named President of Morris Publishing Group

Derek May has been named president of Morris Publishing Group, the largest division of Augusta-based Morris Communications LLC and the parent company of The Augusta Chronicle and Augusta Magazine.
The Augusta native and longtime resident had served as the group’s senior vice president since 2011. The title of president was previously held by William S. Morris IV, who last year took over as president and CEO of the parent company.
