South Kitchen, Creature Comforts Team Up for One-of-a-kind Beer Dinner

Fourteen months ago, Creature Comforts brewers sealed a small amount of their house lager into cabernet sauvignon and sauvignon blanc wine barrels to sit and steep. Now tapped, bottled and kegged, this limited edition beer called Emergence, will be available to the Athens public for the first time at a special dinner in the charming and marble-laden atmosphere of South Kitchen + Bar on Feb. 23.
“As far as the origin of the name Emergence, it comes from the fact that it started from something so simple, even though there's nothing simple about making beer, and produced this beautiful beer,” said Seth Herman, Creature Comforts’ business development director.
