Athens Regional Health System will host a Women’s Heart Healthy Hour luncheon from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, February 29th in the John A. Drew Lecture Hall on the third floor of the Medical Services Building on King Avenue.
 
The program is being held in conjunction with American Heart Association’s Heart Month efforts, and the topics of discussion will focus on women’s heart health, as well as and the latest cardiovascular interventions at Athens Regional Medical Center. Dr. Joseph Poole, the Associate Clinical Director of Athens Regional Cardiology, is the keynote speaker for the event.
 
A heart healthy lunch from Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe will be provided as a part of the event starting at 11:00 a.m., with the program beginning at 11:45 a.m. The event is free to attend and open to the community.
