Athens Cultural Affairs Commission Seeks Three New Members
Friday, February 12th, 2016
Just two months after replacing four members who resigned for a variety of personal and professional reasons, the 11-member Athens Cultural Affairs Commission is seeking three new members.
The ACAC, whose members are appointed by Athens-Clarke County’s mayor and commission, advises the county government on its public art program, makes recommendations to the mayor and commission on arts-related practices and policies, and works to foster development of visual, performing, cultural and other arts in the community. Members are appointed to three-year terms of service.
