St. Mary's Health Care System will hold an education fair on Friday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for registered nurses who are interested in obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.

The RN-to-BSN/MSN Fair will be held in St. Mary's Assembly Rooms, located near the hospital's atrium lobby at 1230 Baxter St., Athens. Free parking will be available in employee lot B off the main Baxter Street driveway.

All RNs are invited to come and meet recruiters from a variety of schools, including Brenau University, Chamberlain College of Nursing, Georgia Regents University, Piedmont College, The University of Alabama, University of North Georgia, Western Governors University and more.

The participating schools offer a mix of traditional classes and online learning. Information also will be available about flexible class schedules, discounts for St. Mary's employees, and St. Mary's employee tuition reimbursement program.
