President of UGA Moves Into Second Year

After assuming his position as president of the University of Georgia on July 1, 2013, President Jere W. Morehead now celebrates two years of service to the institution.
A 1980 graduate from the UGA School of Law who returned to the institution and served in various faculty and administrative positions, Morehead was selected as president because of his passion for the institution and service to its students.
