Dr. John Edry Joining St. Mary's Neurological Specialists

St. Mary’s Neurological Specialists is expanding: neurologist John Edry, M.D., is joining Drs. Angela McSwain and Robert Steadham effective Aug. 1.
Dr. Edry grew up in the Augusta area, attending Aquinas High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Augusta State University, now part of Georgia Regents University (GRU). He earned his medical degree from GRU, then continued with GRU for his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology. While there, he participated in leading-edge research in stroke. He is married to family medicine physician Hajra Hasan, M.D., and they have two children. When not practicing neurology, Dr. Edry enjoys portrait art, swimming, golf and tennis.
Dr. Edry is now accepting patients. Some next-day appointments are available. Most major forms of insurance are accepted, as well as Medicare and self-pay.
St. Mary’s Neurological Specialists’ main office is located at 2470 Daniells Bridge Road, Building 200, Suite 261, Athens, Ga., just off Ga. 316. The office provides ample free, front-door parking and is convenient to the Athens Perimeter and the Oconee Connector.
