Athens-Based Umano Wins $100K Investment at Pandoland Conference

Yesterday afternoon at Pandoland, Sarah Lacy and Paul Carr hosted a startup contest for an investment of $100,000 from a select group of high profile angel investors and judges.
The winner, Umano, is a socially conscious tee-shirt and clothing company that features children’s artwork and designs. The company donates backpacks to kids as part of a ‘Tom shoes’ business model.
