Athens Running Company Takes Over Five Points Corner

A sportswear store, Athens Running Company, has taken over the corner of Five Points on Milledge Avenue and Lumpkin Street.
Owners David Laggis and Mark Schroeder, a graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, established the store in 2010 because of a mutual desire to improve people’s running experience. The Athens Running Company was first located at the Bottleworks Complex and recently moved to its Five Points location.
