Four Athens Secures New Office Space for Local Startups
Press release from the issuing company
Monday, March 9th, 2015
Four Athens has moved several of its member companies into new offices on Hancock Street. The move represents progress for the local nonprofit supporting tech-based startups in Athens. Due to the recent sale of the building at 165 East Dougherty Street, several startup companies have now taken up residence on the second floor at 345 West Hancock Street. The new space will continue to host sponsored community events and serve as a central location for innovative collaboration among Athens-based tech talent and entrepreneurs.
Commenting on the move, Jim Flannery, Project Director and Four Athens, said, “Entrepreneurs, jobseekers, and creative people in Athens have few truly collaborative spaces in which to meet, learn, and work together in a meaningful way. Our new space at 345 West Hancock Street, as well as our co-working space at The Quad in the Bottleworks, fills this crucial need for the local business community.”
