President Morehead Speaks About Budget, Construction at University Cabinet Meeting

President Jere Morehead began his report at the University of Georgia Cabinet meeting on Feb. 18 by welcoming the new Vice President for Instruction, Rahul Shrivastav to the University.
“As we say, our motto begins with instruction and we are delighted that you are a part of this institution," Morehead said. "We look forward to the leadership you will provide this University.”
The President then moved the meeting to speak about expansion and development including the dedication of the new Veterinary Medical Center, the dedication of the new Residential Learning Facility in Washington, D.C. and the renovation and expansion of Foley Field.
