TAG Unveils Health IT Issue of Hub Magazine

The latest issue of Hub Magazine, was released today with Dawn Whaley, President of Atlanta-based Sharecare, on the cover. The magazine was unveiled at a special ceremony held at the Herman Miller Showroom in Atlanta’s Midtown West area.
Sharecare is a health and wellness engagement platform that provides consumers with personalized information, programs and resources to improve their health. The company was founded in 2009 by WebMD Founder, Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Sharecare’s Whaley penned the feature article for fall issue of Hub Magazine which spotlights Georgia’s Health IT industry.
Health information technology (Health IT or HIT) is a unique sector of the healthcare industry that involves the design, development, creation, use and maintenance of information systems for a whole range of medical and insurance-related enterprises and their consumers.
The Health IT issue of Hub Magazine offers a glimpse of the industry in Georgia which boasts more than 200 companies, over $4 billion in annual reported revenue, and employs more than 30,000 people.
