Athens Community Career Academy, Caterpillar Honored by Lt. Gov.

Caterpillar and the Athens Community Career Academy were both recognized by Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle this week for a partnership dedicated to equipping students with job skills they need to compete in the 21st-century global economy.
The ACCA, which opened in 2011, was chosen from among six finalists as the 2014 College and Career Academy of the Year at the Lt. Governor’s Business and Education Summit. Caterpillar was named Business Partner of the Year for the company’s partnership with the academy.
