GDOL to Help Home Goods Recruit Warehouse Workers in Athens Tomorrow

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Home Goods recruit about 100 warehouse workers for its home furnishings distribution center in Jefferson. The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Athens Career Center, 150 Evelyn C. Neely Dr.

The company is recruiting warehouse associates to ship, receive, and process orders for home furnishings. 

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school or General Education Diploma (GED) is required, while previous warehousing experience is not necessary. 
Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs. And, they must be available to work the first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or the second shift from 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
