Stadion Money Management (www.stadionmoney.com), a money management firm known for its tactical alternative investment solutions, all of which share Stadion’s defensive growth philosophy, announced Wednesday the hire of two specialists to help facilitate demand for the company’s products.

Steve Demetrovits joined Stadion as Vice President and Director of National Accounts to help grow the firm's distribution capabilities. Prior to joining Stadion, Mr. Demetrovits was Vice President and Senior National Accounts Manager at OppenheimerFunds where he managed some of the firm’s largest relationships. In his 20-plus years in the investment industry, Mr. Demetrovits has held a number of key sales and marketing roles at organizations that include Alliance Capital Management, Scudder, Stevens & Clark, and TIAA-CREF. He holds a BA in Economics from Fairfield University and has his FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

Laura Pitsikoulis joins Stadion as a Senior Portfolio Operations Specialist, a role in which she’ll support the portfolio management team by leveraging her more than 20 years of institutional trading, operations, compliance and best execution experience. Prior to joining Stadion, Ms. Pitsikoulis served as Director of Institutional Trading for Wilmington Brokerage, an affiliate of Wilmington Trust, (previously Balentine and Company) in Atlanta, where she oversaw trading for proprietary funds and partnerships. She holds multiple FINRA licenses, including principal designations in equities and options. Ms. Pitsikoulis received a BA degree from the University of Georgia.
