Chamber Introduces the Small Business Committee

The Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the creation of a Small Business Committee! Led by Lisa Rawls, Evergreen CFO, the purpose of the Small Business Committee is to promote the growth, success, and recognition of businesses through educational programs, open exchanges of information, and special events focusing on the needs of small businesses in our community.
The Small Business Committee will offer a series of seminars on topics ranging from mobile media to human resources and financing. The "Small Business Breakfast Club" will meet the third Thursday of each month from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Chamber of Commerce.
The series kicks off Tuesday, March 18th with Small Business goes Mobile!
This session will focus on mobile technology and it's implications and applications for small businesses. As the world continues to shift to mobile it is essential for small businesses to stay on top of mobile trends and technology if they want to remain competitive in today's business environment.
Guest speakers will include Bob Gilbert, Vice President of Audience for Morris Publishing Group and David Asman, co-owner of Athens Bagel Company.
Topics will range from an overview of current mobile trends across the world to mobile APPlications (pun intended) for local, small businesses.
