Metro Athens’ Unemployment Rate Rises to 5.2% in June

The Georgia Department of Labor announced today that Metro Athens’ unemployment rate in June was 5.2 percent, up seven-tenths of a percentage point from 4.5 percent in May. In June 2016, the rate was 5.8 percent.

Georgia Lottery Transfers over $1.1B to Education; Record-breaking Fiscal Year

Film Industry Generates $9.5 Billion for Georgia’s Economy
