• UGA VP for PSO Jennifer Frum to Retire After 30-Year Career

  Jennifer Frum, vice president for public service and outreach at the University of Georgia, has announced she will retire Dec. 1st after a 30-year career at UGA. Frum has led UGA’s expansive public service and outreach enterprise since 2011, initially as interim vice president, before being named to the role permanently in July 2012. She is the first woman to serve in the position.

• State Removes Limits on Donations to Tax Credits Helping Kids Aging Out of Foster Care

  Limits on donations to a state tax credit that supports foster children aging out of the system were eliminated effective Monday. The General Assembly created the foster-care tax credit last year with a $20 million cap. In its first year, the program raised almost $11.6 million.
