Metro Athens’ Unemployment Rate Declines to 4.6%

The Georgia Department of Labor announced today that Metro Athens’ unemployment rate for April was 4.6 percent, down three-tenths of a percentage point from 4.9 percent in March. The rate in April 2015 was 5.3 percent.

Georgia’s Unemployment Rate Rises to 5.5%

The Georgia Department of Labor announced today that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in March was 5.5 percent, up one-tenth of a percentage point from 5.4 percent in February. The rate was 6.2 percent in March 2015.

Your Pie Founder Drew French Heads to Italy for World Pizza Championship

Back in October 2015, Drew French, the founder of Your Pie, the original down-the-line pizza concept, was faced with a delicious challenge—craft the best pizza in the Eastern United States. The venue was the 2015 Pizzaiolo Ultisimo at The Sofo Foods Expo in Atlanta, and French had to compete against hundreds of restaurants in an effort to wow a panel of nine discriminating judges.
