Legacy Village of Athens, an assisted living and memory care community, has announced that Benita Watts will be its new Executive Director. Watts has over 11 years of experience in senior care and is known for her passion for serving seniors and cultivating strong teams.

Watts began her career in healthcare in 2014 after working in other industries such as insurance, law, church administration, and real estate. She started in sales and marketing before becoming an Executive Director in 2020.

“I am so excited about joining the Legacy Village family! My goal is to lead with the type of passion, integrity and excellence that creates an environment and culture where people are excited to live and work,” Watts stated.

Watts has two adult sons and a teenage daughter. She enjoys traveling, watching sports, volunteering at church, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
