2025 Athens-Clarke County from A to Z Guides Now Available

The 2025 revised and updated edition of the Athens-Clarke County Communication Department’s ACC from A to Z: A Guide to the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government and Community Servicesis now available to the public in both print and electronic formats. The guide contains contact information and descriptions for over 700 entries related to government programs and services, as well as community organizations.
Arranged alphabetically by subject, the guide has been produced for over a decade by the Communications Department based largely on the kinds of questions that the office regularly receives by phone, email, or social media. Information in the guide is reviewed and revised annually for accuracy.
Printed copies, while supplies last, are currently available at the following locations:

The cover for the 2025 edition of the ACC from A to Z Guide features artwork of the City Hall dome created by local artist Sam Watson. Watson is an Athens-born illustrator passionate about creating colorful and engaging visuals for all ages. She draws inspiration from local imagery such as architecture, native plants, and other staples of Athens life.
The cover artwork is the ninth in the annual Athens Artist Cover Series versions of the ACC from A to Z Guide to showcase a different local artist’s interpretation of City Hall in their respective media. Covers for previous editions were created by watercolor artist Jamie Calkin, mosaic artist Randy Sanders of Corazon Mosaics, embroidery artist Rachel Winters of Flora Embroidery, chalk artist Marvella Castaneda, confectionary artist Ashley King, digital artist Jared Brown, linoleum print/mixed-media artist Abigail West, and ceramic artist Juana Gnecco.
