Landmark Properties to Open City Food Hall Near UGA

Landmark Properties, a fully-integrated real estate firm specializing in development, construction, investment management, and operation of high-quality residential communities, is welcoming City Food Hall to 19,681 square feet of street-level retail space at The Mark Athens, located at 130 Hickory St. in Athens, GA. With a curated combination of culinary and entertainment offerings, City Food Hall will bring a vibrant experiential retail outpost to this dynamic enclave of Athens. The location is expected to open in Fall 2025.

City Food Hall Athens will feature 10 specialty, chef-driven food concepts offering a diverse range of culinary offerings, a full-service neighborhood bar and two state-of-the-art golf simulators that will feature a variety of interactive multi-sports games – appealing to complete novices, weekend warriors and pros alike. With a focus on curating high-quality local food and beverage offerings, combined with a dedication to first-class service and warm hospitality, Miami-based City Food Hall is recognized for its experience and operational excellence in the food hall sector.

Proximate to the University of Georgia campus and Sanford Stadium, the central location attracts a diverse demographic year-round. Landmark developed the property in two phases with the first phase, completed in 2017, offering 928 beds and 34,000 square feet of retail, and a second phase, completed in 2022, offering 436 beds, and 19,681 square feet of new retail space. The complex also boasts 46,427 square feet of office space. Landmark Properties, founded in Athens in 2004, occupies 92 percent of the office space for its corporate headquarters. Situated adjacent to the Athens Greenway, the location provides convenient access to expansive green spaces featuring biking, hiking and running trails.
