“Nuçi’s Space is proud to announce the return of Athens Uncovered, our fall fundraising music festival leading up to Giving Tuesday. This year’s edition will take place Sunday, November 26th, 2023, from noon to 10pm. Featuring 14 acts across two stages, this event will showcase the last four decades of Athens music history. The event is free, with a minimum suggested donation of $15 and no maximum, and open to all ages. Proceeds will go toward Nuçi’s Space’s mission of preventing suicide. 

This year’s lineup will feature Heffner, David Barbe + (featuring Brad Morgan of Drive-By Truckers, McKendrick Bearden, Ben Hackett, and Graham Powers), Wim Tapley and the Cannons, Rose Hotel, Jim White, Current Rage, Five-Eight, Nuclear Tourism, Honeypuppy, Cardynal, Liz Farrell, Rebecca Sunshine Band, and a band comprised of students from a recent session of Nuçi’s Space’s Camp Amped program.

The event will include food trucks, artist merchandise tables, a kids area including face painting, and a photobooth inside the famed St. Mary’s Steeple, on the spot where REM played their first show more than 40 years ago. There will also be an online auction running from November 3rd to December 1st that will feature signed posters, records, CDs and DVDs, gift certificates to local businesses for classes and merchandise, and more!
