St. Mary's Good Samaritan Foundation Launches "Go RED for Good Sam" to Uplift Colleagues During February
Tuesday, February 9th, 2021
St. Mary's Good Samaritan Foundation and Board of Directors have launched the "Go RED For Good Sam" campaign during the month of February, National Heart Month, to honor Good Samaritan Hospital's health care workers.
In these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic, St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital's health care workers have served the community with HEART and SOUL. St. Mary's Good Samaritan Foundation and Board hope the community will show appreciation throughout the month of February by making a donation and helping to create a permanent reflection garden filled with planted rose bushes and trees. Also, a Valentine's "Wall of Love" made out of beautiful red silk roses will be assembled to greet tireless health care colleagues every day throughout the month of February as they enter St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital.
A $100 donation will add a single silk rose pinned to the "Wall of Love." A $1,000 donation will add a planted rose bush in the reflection garden, and a $10,000 donation will contribute a planted tree with a personalized plaque planted in the reflection garden. Quantities are limited for bushes and trees so don't wait to make your donation!
Due to generous donations by Black Sheep Interiors, Designs by Kent, Noles Landscapes, and The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds Lake Oconee, your contribution is fully tax deductible and will support the "Expanding Technology, Elevating Care" Capital Campaign to help purchase a state-of-the-art CT scanner, permanent MRI suite, a dedicated cardiac stress lab, and a 2,200-square-foot expansion to house them. This addition will allow the hospital, doctors and colleagues to provide the best quality care possible in the communities we serve.
