Corporate Generosity Research Open to Georgia Business Leaders
Tuesday, February 4th, 2020
One year ago, the 2019 Corporate Generosity Research Report conducted by goBeyondProfit and Georgia CEO provided invaluable insights about business leader, employee and customer expectations.
Georgia CEOs, Owners and Senior Business Executives are invited to participate in the 2020 survey. It will take about four minutes by clicking here: goBeyondProfit Executive Insights Survey.
Respondents will receive an advanced copy of the 2020 survey report, which will include the Georgia Chamber’s support and participation.
Last year’s research showed that in every age group, on every metric, Georgia adults are more likely to factor generosity into employment and purchasing preferences than the U.S. average for their age group. And while Georgia business leaders believe in the value of corporate generosity, there are perception gaps between business leaders and employees that point to opportunities for greater alignment and engagement. Employees – especially those under 34 -- value corporate generosity more highly and rank their employers less positively than leaders do.
The research is conducted by goBeyondProfit, a business leader-led initiative helping Georgia business leaders learn from and inspire one another about corporate generosity as a key building block for healthier businesses and stronger communities. The research will again capture insights from Georgia business leaders and working adults. Last year’s full report is available at www.gobeyondprofit.org/corporate-generosity-report/.
“The conversations today around stakeholders, purpose and employee retention confirm the increasing demand for businesses of all sizes to implement an authentic corporate generosity strategy,” explains Founding Director Megan McCamey. “We invite Georgia business leaders to share their own thoughts and business insights in a key step to define the dialogue here in Georgia.”
