The Georgia Department of Labor will help staffing company Express Pros recruit on Tuesday, Oct. 27, about 50 manufacturing workers for Caterpillar’s facility in Athens. The company manufactures small, track-type tractors and mini-hydraulic excavators.

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the auditorium of Building F at Athens Technical College located at 800 U.S. Highway 29 North in Athens.

The company is recruiting for a variety of positions, including assemblers, welders and warehouse associates. Staff of the GDOL’s Athens Career Center will be available to screen applicants and provide employment-related services.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They should bring resumes, be prepared to interview and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
