A Manufacturing Job Fair is planned for Friday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Athens Technical College. Nibco, Baldor, Caterpillar, Leggett and Platt, McCann Aerospace, Silgan Closures, Power Partners, Certainteed, and other area manufacturers are scheduled to participate. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with manufacturers currently looking for employees, learn about educational opportunities to prepare for a career in manufacturing, and find out about the different types of manufacturing. 

The Manufacturing Job Fair is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required. The event will be held in Building N, Room 111 on the Athens Campus of Athens Technical College.
