TAG Athens Hosts Technology Town Hall

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry and the TAG Athens Chapter, will be hosting a Technology Town Hall meeting  3:30 PM Tuesday October 14th at FourAthens, which is located at 165 E Dougherty Street in Athens.  The meeting is the last of several that TAG and its Chapters have been holding around the state over the past few months.

The Technology Town Hall serves as an informational forum about the critical issues and policies that are important to the emerging technology communities in Georgia.  Attendees will be able to learn about legislative activities from the 2014 session, as well as preview initiatives for the upcoming 2015 Georgia General Assembly.

· Representative Tommy Benton, District 31

· Representative Bruce Williamson, District 115

· Representative Chuck Williams, District 119 

Area business and government leaders, technologists and media are encouraged to attend the meeting.
