Oconee State Bank announces the addition of local Pastor, Kevin Daniel, to its Oconee Area Community Advisory Committee.

“We are very excited to have Kevin as part of our Community Advisory Committee,” said President and CEO Neil Stevens. “Kevin’s experience and unique perspective will provide great insight to our team as we strive to achieve our vision of being essential to the lives, businesses, and communities we serve.”

Daniel has been the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Watkinsville since 2007 and has been in state law enforcement since 1998. He also enjoys serving in the community and is proud to be a member of the Northwestern Baptist Association No. 1, General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia 8th District, Oconee Mentor Program, and an Oconee FCA Board Member.

Daniel resides in Oconee with his wife, Saron, and their four children, Kassidy (17), Lauren (13), Sydney (10), Micah (5), and fur-baby Razzle. As a family, they enjoy traveling, music, and visiting local restaurants.

"I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve the community in this capacity,” said Daniel. “Our church has maintained a long-standing relationship with Oconee State Bank, even in historical times when it was not status quo. In a close community, such as ours, relationships are key. Neil Stevens and his team are leading OSB during a great time of growth and I am excited to be a part of it.”
