Summit Explores Athens’ Affordable Housing Crunch

Mother-in-law apartments attached to single-family homes, duplexes, tiny homes, relaxed (in some dimensions) building codes, eliminating some zoning restrictions and more innovative subdivision designs all could help ease Athens’ affordable housing crisis, speakers said at an “Athens Housing Summit” on Tuesday at the Classic Center.
