TeleNet Marketing Solutions Celebrates 20 Years in Business

Staff Report From Athens CEO

Tuesday, October 8th, 2019

TeleNet Marketing Solutions recently celebrated its 20th year in business during an all-employee reception at the Oconee County Civic Center. TeleNet is an Athens, Georgia-based business to business (B2B) marketing teleservices company.

Two decades ago, the organization was established with three founding employees, a 1,200-square-foot office space and a short list of client leads. Within two months, TeleNet landed its first client: a Fortune 100 technology heavyweight.

Fast forward to today, the company has more than 270 employees, two offices totaling 28,000 square feet, and a roster of more than 25 high-profile clients — including that first heavyweight client, a relationship that has spanned 20 years.

As many aspects of the B2B teleservices industry have changed since TeleNet first opened its doors in 1999, some things have remained the same, like the importance of human-to-human interactions and TeleNet’s emphasis on quality over quantity.

“We are excited to celebrate this historic milestone for our company,” TeleNet Marketing Solutions CEO Gregg Garrett said. “When we opened our doors 20 years ago, we had a bold vision and a lot of grit, but I don’t think we ever imagined we’d be where we are today.”

TeleNet’s approach to business — and the continued importance of the B2B teleservices industry in general — has helped the company maintain steady growth. In 2019 alone, the company is expecting double-digit revenue growth year-over-year.

“Our success can be attributed to many different factors,” TeleNet’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Kathy Rizzo said. “We have an incredibly dedicated and talented team, a relentless pursuit of quality results and a tremendous group of clients who view us as an extension of their own teams and value our strategic approach.”

TeleNet’s clients mainly come from subsets of the technology industry. As such, employees are versed in enterprise servers and storage, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, business intelligence, managed services, IT security, enterprise software, business risk mitigation, document management, and many other technology solutions.

“As our industry continues to evolve, our commitment to excellent client service remains stronger than ever,” Garrett said. “I’m excited to see where that leads us in the next 20 years.”
