OCS 2018 Graduation Rate is 94.4%

The Oconee County Schools 2018 graduation rate is 94.4%, as released by the Georgia Department of Education. This 4-year cohort graduation rate is based on the number of students that graduate within four years, plus one summer.

“The Class of 2018 is to be commended for their tremendous academic accomplishments. I applaud our graduates, teachers, administrators, and parents on reaching for excellence and attaining it.  It will be a pleasure to watch them further that success in college, the military, and in their future careers,” said Superintendent Jason Branch.

Of particular note, Oconee County Schools’ graduation rate is #1 for county systems in Northeast Georgia and #2 for all systems in the state with 500 or more graduates. The graduation rate at Oconee County High School is 91.9% and the graduation rate for North Oconee High School is 97.0%. The graduation rate for the state of Georgia is 81.3%.
