Athens Downtown Development Authority Moving to Extend Tax District Boundaries

The Athens Downtown Development Authority will try once again to have its boundaries extended — a move that would bring additional revenue to the group, which is funded with a special 1-mill property tax assessed within its boundaries in addition to a share of downtown Athens parking revenue.
