Wrenn's Birthday Celebration
Friday, 11 p.m.

Miller Lite Presents Wrenn's Birthday Celebration: Sometimes fun and quirky and at other times gravely beautiful, Athens' newly crowned pop-sweetheart, Wrenn, combines rich, vibrant vocals with powerful songwriting to, "... create something unlike anything in Athens music now or, probably, ever." Between playing some of the premiere music venues in the Southeast, her nationally recognized beat-boxing, showcasing her artistic ability both on and off the stage, Wrenn has made her mark on the music scene and is a rare talent you cannot help but notice.

Kate Pierson (of B-52's)
Saturday, 8 p.m.

Listening to Kate's solo record with her soaring, hovering, levitating voice sometimes steely, sometimes glowing neon, you suspect there is something really new in the 21st Century. This is saucy, rocking music that has a lot of relevance to classic American pop of the fifties/sixties, like Carol King and Phil Spector, but it sounds completely new.

Free Gelato Day at Your Pie
Sunday, 11 a.m.

As a brand that's dedicated to different, Your Pie has always loved ice cream, but there's another dessert that they love even more: GELATO! They could talk about how much better gelato is, but they're doing one better - they're going to show you. On July 19th, come into any participating Your Pie location and receive a free (no strings attached!) gelato on the house.
