Naitonal Bank of Georgia Announces Staff Promotions, Introduces New Banking Officer

The Board of Directors of The National Bank of Georgia recently announced the promotion of Lisa Fincannon, Ashley Shaw and Lee Simmons to the position of banking officers. 

In addition these three promotions, the bank also announced the employment of Ryan Hunt as a banking officer.

Fincannon is a native of Barrow County and a current resident of Jackson County. She has been with NBG since 2006 and is a graduate of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia’s Consumer Lending School. She currently manages the bank’s loan operations department.

Shaw is a native of Oglethorpe County and graduated from Piedmont College in Demorest with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Shaw has been employed by NBG as an accountant for the past four years.

Simmons is a native of Marietta, but has lived in Oconee County for several years, and graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor of arts degree. Lee serves the bank as the assistant branch manager of the Athens office, after having held various positions with other local banks.

Ryan Hunt is a native of Social Circle and a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of arts degree. Prior to coming to work with NBG, Ryan was employed by an Atlanta area accounting firm. Hunt will serve the bank as a lender and business development officer.
