COVID-19 Cases are Decreasing in Athens-Clarke, and so are the Virus Safety Precautions

Following the surge of Omicron-variacases, Athens-Clarke County is now seeing some of the lowest daily case numbers of COVID-19 since the pandemic started.
In January, Athens-Clarke recorded its highest peak of COVID-19 cases, including a record for the average number of cases and the most cases reported in a single day — 427 cases on Jan. 20.
