The University of Georgia submitted the recently completed Spring Street project for a Historic Athens Preservation Award, and it won in the Outstanding Adaptive Reuse of a Historic Building category! Projects in this category are judged on the basis of sensitivity to the building’s character-defining features and architectural integrity, innovative design solutions, and impact on the local community. Congratulations to the Sheridan Construction team - Project Manager Harrison Parker, Superintendent Chris Bailey, and Senior Estimator Richard Cazort – as well as the design team at Lord Aeck Sargent for their work on this award-winning project!
