Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) welcomed CMA CGM AIR CARGO, a world leader in shipping and logistics, to Atlanta three weeks after the launch of its commercial operations.

“We are thrilled to welcome CMA CGM AIR CARGO to Atlanta,” interim Airport General Manager Balram “B” Bheodari said today. “Expanding opportunities for our customers, continuing to grow our international reach, and becoming a formidable contender in cargo aviation remain our top goals. And this new cargo partnership not only allows us to accomplish just that, but also reaffirms our commitment to becoming one of the top cargo airports in the country.”

The two new destinations in the U.S. completes the existing service between Liege and Chicago and doubles the offered capacity to better serve its customers on this trade lane.

“With New York (JFK) and Atlanta, the Group now serves two global airports in the U.S.,” CMA CGM AIR CARGO mentions in a press release. “These airports offer world-class infrastructure to propose intermodal connections in the region, including the Southeast of the country.”
