Halloween Events at East Athens Community Center

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will present two Halloween events in October at the East Athens Community Center.

“Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Crafts” is scheduled for Thursday, October 24 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Individuals, ages 5-12, are invited to make the perfect jack-o-lantern. The program fee includes one pumpkin, cutting utensils, and stencils. The fee is $4 per person. Online registration is underway at www.accgov.com/halloween

The “The East Athens Halloween Carnival” for ages 5-18 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The event features costume contests, face painting, games, haunted house, and family fun in the gymnasium. The fee is $3 for Athens-Clarke County residents and $4.50 for non-residents. Registration is not required.
