Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan Announces Study Committee Appointments

Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan announced the members of two Senate Study Committees: Senate Resolution 325 (Senate Study Committee on Portable Benefits for Independent Workers) and Senate Resolution 468 (Senate Study Committee on the Educational Development of African American Children in Georgia).

“All Georgians deserve affordable, accessible healthcare. And our children depend on us to create thriving and positive educational environments,” said Duncan. “Both of these committees will hear input into these topics and continue our commitment to make deliberate, meaningful decisions as elected officials.”

The Senate Study Committee on Portable Benefits for Independent Workers will be chaired by Senator Larry Walker. The Senate members appointed to serve on this committee include:

The Senate Study Committee on the Educational Development of African American Children in Georgia will be chaired by Senator Gail Davenport. The Senate members appointed to serve on this committee include:
