Several GDOL Offices to Close Today

Due to the potentially dangerous weather conditions created by Hurricane Michael, the Georgia Department of Labor has closed a number of offices across south Georgia.
 
The department issued orders to close a number of facilities early. Another nine offices were already ordered closed for the day. All are located in south Georgia and will remain closed until further notice.  
 
Offices that closed at noon are:

Americus - 120 W. Church St., Americus

Eastman - 5016 Park Way, Eastman.
 
Offices that will close at 2 p.m. are:

Athens - 150 Evelyn C. Neely Dr., Athens

Augusta - 601 Greene St., Augusta

Brunswick - 2517 Tara Lane, Brunswick

Columbus - 700 Veterans Parkway, Columbus

Dublin - 910 N. Jefferson St., Dublin

Greensboro -  1051 Athens Technical Dr., Greensboro

Hinesville - 740 General Stewart Way, #202, Hinesville

Houston - 96 Cohen Walker Dr., Warner Robins

Kings Bay - 1712 Osborne Road. Suite G, Kings Bay

Macon -  3090 Mercer University Dr., Macon

Milledgeville - 156 Roberson Mill Road, Milledgeville

Savannah - 5520 White Bluff Road, Savannah

Statesboro - 62 Packinghouse Road, Statesboro

Thomson - 674 Washington Road, Thomson

Vidalia - 206 Queen St., Vidalia.
 
GDOL offices already ordered closed are:

Albany -  1608 S. Slappey Blvd., Albany

Bainbridge - 310 S. Scott St., Bainbridge

Cairo - 225 5th St. NE, Cairo

Moultrie - 220 N. Main St., Moultrie

Thomasville - 403 N. Broad St., Thomasville

Douglas - 70 Lockwood Dr., Douglas

Tifton -  820 Love Ave. C, Tifton

Valdosta - 221 S. Ashley St., Valdosta

Waycross -  600 Plant Ave., Waycross.
 
The department will continue monitoring conditions across the state and may continue to adjust its services as needed.  
 
Staff and GDOL customers will be updated as the situation changes. All other GDOL career centers will operate according to their normal schedules, pending weather conditions and notification of a change in status.
