New Cardiologist Joins Oconee Heart and Vascular Center

Effective Sept. 1, cardiologist J. Lauren Dowling will be joining Oconee Heart and Vascular Center. Dr. Dowling will practice full-time out of the Monroe office.
Dr. Dowling recently completed his cardiology fellowship at the Largo Medical Center in Florida, where he served as co-chief of the program during the 2017-18 academic year.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University and his doctor’s degree in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga.
