AthFest is finally here! Come check out more than 100 bands as they perform throughout Athens, GA this weekend. This music festival generates awareness for AthFest Educates, a local nonprofit that supports music and art education for youth. So you can feel good while you jam out. This year boasts a Kidzone, multiple beer gardens, and even more venues - including The Foundry and Terrapin Beer Co.  Don't miss the events leading up to the weekend - including Laughfest.

Can't get enough music? Spend your Saturday morning learning about how the music scene has evolved in the Classic City with the Athens Music History Tour. Or, if you need a break, make your way to the Lyndon House Arts Center and see Works by Vernon Thornsberry. This self-taught artist incorporates figures from the Athens community and places them into timeless backdrops. To round out the weekend, be sure to stop by Terrapin for their last Farmer's Market of the season.
