Athens, Georgia-based Landmark Properties has been named the most active student housing developer in the United States by Student Housing Business, an industry-leading publication.
 
With 32 projects and more than 21,000 new beds planned through fall 2021, Landmark Properties received the top ranking by a margin of 13 total projects and more than 7,500 beds.
 
This marks the third time in the past four years the company has been named the nation’s most active student housing developer (2015, 2016 and 2018). Landmark Construction, Landmark Properties’ general contractor subsidiary, has also been ranked as the nation’s top contractor and most active builder in the industry by SHB.

Landmark’s development pipeline spans from Tampa, Florida, to State College, Pennsylvania; and from Berkeley, California, to New Brunswick, New Jersey. The developer will start construction on an additional 8,775 beds this year.
 
Landmark Properties currently owns and manages 64 student housing projects across the country, totaling more than 24,500 beds, and has $1.5 billion in assets currently under construction.
