Athens’ Downtown Parade of Lights is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday.

The parade starts at the corner of Pulaski Street and Hancock Avenue. It continues on Pulaski Street to Clayton Street. It moves from Clayton Street to Thomas Street for a block before turning onto Washington Street. The parade then turns right onto College Avenue to Hancock Avenue.

Most streets along the route will close at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday, but the intersection of Hancock and College avenues will close at 2 p.m. and the portion of Hancock Avenue along the assembly area will close at 3 p.m.
