Camilla’s Susan Keigans Installed as President of GBA’s Leadership Executive Committee

Susan Keigans, executive vice president, Planters and Citizens Bank, Camilla, has been elected by her peers in the state as president of the Leadership GBA Executive Committee for the Georgia Bankers Association. Additionally, Keigans will serve a one-year term as the Leadership GBA representative on the GBA board of directors.

Created in 1958, Leadership GBA is committed to developing the future leaders of the banking industry. The goals of the program are to promote leadership development, educate the public about banking, create networking opportunities and provide bankers with the opportunity for involvement in the legislative process.

Keigans joined Planters and Citizens Bank in 2006. She is executive vice president and corporate secretary for the bank.

Keigans received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia and her master’s degree in Business Administration for Business Management from Columbus State University. She is also a 2009 graduate of the GBA’s Georgia Banking School.

Keigans is a past chair of the Camilla Chamber of Commerce and past finance chair for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mitchell County. Keigans serves on the Board of Trustees for Camilla United Methodist Church.
